There’s no shortage of festivals and celebrations to explore in New York City this summer. And while July is often known as the month for celebrating our country’s independence, it’s also the month for commemorating France’s independence. FIAF Bastille Day Celebration
Join the French Institute : Alliance Francaise (FIAF) on Sunday, July 16th, for the official Bastille Day Celebration!

Where: Madison Avenue, 59th to 63rd Street; 60th Street, Fifth to Madison Avenue

Live Performances
The main stage at 59th and Madison Avenue is free and open to the public. And there’s a wide variety of exciting live entertainment and music! Cast from Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Naomi Greene, Malika Zara, and BoByGrove will all be performing from noon to 5:00 PM.
Rosé & Bubbly Party
You don’t want to miss this party! Check out the FIAF Skyroom, at 22 East 60th Street, for a stunning selection of wines provided by Vineyard Brands. Sip and sample Champagne Delamotte, La Vieille Ferme, and Miraval Rosé, along with STUDIO by Miraval. The wines will be additionally coupled with scrumptious madeleines and delightful mini quiches from Miss Madeleine, macarons from Thierry Atlan, and cheeses from Cheese2U.com. Topping off the bubbly festivities will be a live performance by Saint Martin’s renowned and highly entertaining steel drum band Jolly Boys! This party is happening from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM and again from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
The French Garden
Head over to Madison Avenue, between 60th and 61st Street, for premium shopping at The French Garden. Happening throughout the celebration, from noon to 5:00 PM, browse more than a dozen different luxury shops and specialties, including food and fashion.

And there will again be The Greater New York Citroën & Velosolex Club’s Annual Bastille Day Rally & Rendez-Vous, a hotspot and close-up look at all the classic French automobiles.
