This Year’s Show Is Quite the Production

The entire Company jumps into support for this incredible series of performances. There are 90 dancers, more than 60 musicians, and 40 stage assistants. And over 125 children involved, among the two alternating casts hailing from the School of American Ballet to bring this magical Christmas tale to life on stage.

Guests can expect captivating music from the famed Tschaikovsky, along with George Balanchine’s dazzling choreography. The lighting, the costumes, and the sets will all enchant in bringing this version of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King to the stage.

The Wow Factor

This classic holiday tale may date back to the early 1800s. But this year’s ballet performance is infused with technology that will wow fans and inspire gasps among the audience. The visual effects are nothing short of grand, including the one-ton Christmas tree that illuminates and grows before your eyes from 12 feet to 41 feet. Every detail is stunning, down to the tiny crystal-shaped snowflakes that fall for each performance, only to be swept up and used for subsequent performances.
