The 2024 Origami Holiday Tree
The Origami Holiday Tree dates back decades, and a theme is chosen for each year. This year’s theme is “Jumping for Joy,” honoring the 2024 leap year. The tree will feature over 1,000 carefully folded paper ornaments with bouncy creatures, including kangaroos, grasshoppers, frogs, and more! Additionally, there will be models mimicking some iconic AMNH exhibits, such as the blue whale and the T-Rex.
The Origami Holiday Tree can be viewed in the Ellen V. Futter Gallery on the first floor of the American Museum of Natural History. The exhibit will be open until January 15th, 2025. Reserve your tickets today!
