Of all the New York events and things to do, none are quite as beautiful as the Macy’s Flower Show. Now through April 10th, you can see all the flowers at this iconic flower festival. It’s one of many in New York City that symbolizes the spring season. And it’s a reminder that we all should take time to stop, enjoy, and smell the roses!
The Macy’s Flower Show Details
In partnership with Dior, Macy’s will delight visitors for two full weeks with stunning floral arrangements, flowery designs, and intricate displays of colors and fragrances. This year’s theme is “Dreamscape of Fluffy Clouds and Whimsical Landscapes,” with floral arrangements that embrace playful and head-in-the-clouds-inspired designs.
Head over to Herald Square these next two weeks and experience the flower show for yourself. On the first floor alone, you can expect thousands of plants, trees, and flowers. The store’s balcony level will take guests through a floral field of color. And the Broadway window display will feature magical garden designs created by students from The Fashion Institute of Technology.
The flowers featured throughout the show come from countries and growers all over the world. Macy’s has partnered with many local growers, too, including arrangements from area botanical gardens, nurseries, and floral festivals.
