See the Lighting of the World's Largest Hanukkah Menorah

It’s almost Hanukkah, and that means menorahs will be lighting up all over the city for this special celebration of the Jewish Festival of Lights. New York City is home to the world’s largest menorah and is certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. Experience this magnificent menorah lighting on each of Hanukkah's eight days at the Grand Army Plaza, across from the Plaza Hotel.

This year’s lighting of the menorah will be happening all eight nights during Hanukkah and will be accompanied by live music, hot latkes, and gifts for children. This menorah stands over 30 feet tall and weighs around 4,000 pounds. It’s enormous and a must-see!
