What is NYC Restaurant Week?
Restaurant Week in NYC is traditionally a bi-annual event. There is a summer festival as well as a winter celebration of food. And this tradition started back in 1982, now with growing participation from NYC’s best restaurants and a booming attendance rate every year. Today, there are over 600 restaurants participating, and the promotion itself has grown beyond the original “week” for many, with ongoing promotions throughout the month. The traditional Restaurant Week has also inspired other ethnic versions to pop up throughout NYC, including restaurants celebrating Japanese fare, Chinatown Restaurant Week, Malaysian cuisine, French, and Belgian delights, too! Participating restaurants offer bargain discounts, making it the best time of year to sample all of NYC's restaurant scene, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner specialties!
Winter Restaurant Week 2023
Reservations for this winter’s Restaurant Week open on January 10th, 2023. The celebration officially begins on January 17th and runs through February 12th. Start exploring your deals and start sampling New York City’s finest restaurants!
Details are still emerging about pricing and participating restaurants. However, based on past Restaurant Week details, prepare to enjoy more than 60 distinct cuisines across 80+ NYC neighborhoods across all five boroughs. Tickets generally run from $30 to $60 per person and are good for reserving dining deals throughout the weeklong celebration.
