Must-Experience Broadway Shows This Holiday Season

For anyone visiting New York City in December, as well as for those who call NYC home, Broadway is calling! This holiday season, there are a host of long-running hits and seasonal favorites to explore on the stage. Start a new tradition this year. Here are some of the biggest show names to add to your must-experience list this season. Whether you're into traditional classics, musicals you know by heart, or Disney favorites, you're sure to find the perfect Broadway show to enjoy!

Family Favorites

Check out these Broadway hits that the whole family will enjoy! Check for certain age requirements for each show, including certain ages who will need to be chaperoned by an adult.

Aladdin: Recommended for all ages from six and up, this is the classic Disney tale of a boy whose magical lamp brought incredible adventures. The show is two hours long and includes one intermission. 

The Lion King: See Pride Rock and witness the magic of the circle of life with this Disney story. Elaborate designs and songs will inspire those in attendance, ages six and up.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Recommended for children eight years and older, this show is bringing the magic and the wonder of Harry Potter. It’s a three and a half hour show with one intermission. 

Beetlejuice: Don’t say his name! This iconic “ghost with the most” returns to Broadway. Recommended for children ages ten and up, and the show runs for a full two and a half hours with one intermission.
