It is the official 52nd annual Pride Month and everybody will have the chance to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ communities of New York City. Not only will this be a time of celebration, Pride Month is all about educating the masses about equal rights and tolerance. Each year, there are several volunteers who do their part to contribute to Pride Month. Supporters and volunteers can learn more about contributing to Pride Week via the NYC Pride website. For decades, New York City has been an epicenter of progress for gay righs. There are going to be several events occuring in NYC over the next month, including the annual NYC Pride March.
Here are some Pride Week events that you are not going to want to miss:
The Garden Party at Pier 84 - Tuesday, June 21 at 6 PM
The Hester Street Fair at Pier 17 - Saturday, June 25th at 11 AM
Posh Weekend at Nebula & Somewhere Nowhere - Saturday, June 25, at 4PM
Family Movie Night at The Battery - Wednesday, June 15 at 5PM
There are several more events that can all be viewed via the NYC Pride website. All of these events, of course, lead up to The Annual Pride March. The first march commenced in the 1970s and it has continued to represent the progress of the LGBTQ+ community. The 53rd annual Pride March will commence at 12 PM on June 26th. The March will start at 25th Street and 5th Avenue. The March will continue towards 6th Avenue and eventually cross the Stonewall National Monument on Christopher Street and the New York City AIDS Memorial on 7th avenue.

For those who won't be able to attend, they will have the option to watch a broadcast on ABC-7 from 12PM-3PM ET. The broadcast will also be streaming on ABC streaming platforms.
