Labor Day Weekend: The Richmond County Fair In Staten Island

The Richmond County Fair in Staten Island has been an annual celebration for 41 years. It represents the best of Staten Island an all of the proceeds help preserve the historic buildings of Staten Island as well as create educational opportunities for over 25,000 students. 

The annual celebration will happen September 3 - 5. Each day, the fair will take place between 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM. 

The Richmond County Fair will be held at 441 Clarke Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10306. There is no parking on site, but attendees can park at the Staten Island Mall Commuter lot. There will be a free shuttle each day to bring attendees to and from the fair. 

There will be over one hundred vendors at the Richmond County fair featuring local foods, antiques, airbrush t-shirts, and more. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, then send an inquiry to vendors@historicrichmondtown.org

The Richmond County Fair is a family friendly occasion that also features classic carnival ride, bouncy houses, fair food, and more. At the same time, there are going to be several contests for adults and children including three-legged races, pie-eating contests and more. 

Each year, the Richmond County Fair features several local musicians and performers to perform throughout the three days. The venue comes equipped with staging and top-notch A/V equipment.

The annual celebration represents the deep history of Staten Island. There will be several booths throughout the event celebrating Staten Island history, as well as local artists and cultural centers.

Now, more than ever, it is extremely important to support local artists, food vendors, and cultural organizations. As the world opens back up, we see more and more people eager to attend events such as this. The Richmond County Fair is the perfect place to bring your friends and family for three days of fun and culture.
