The exhibit is happening now through May 27th, so head up to the Upper East Side and check out this unique installation celebrating “the Notorious RBG.”

‘RBG Collars: Photographs by Elinor Carcucci’

Contemporary photographer Elinor Carucci presents two dozen photographs of US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s iconic necklaces and collars for the public to experience. The museum explains how RBG “wore collars not just to emphasize the long overdue feminine energy she brought every day to the court, but also to encode meaning into her dress—a sartorial strategy practiced by powerful women throughout history.” She donned traditional lace jabots and necklaces made from beads, shells, and even metalwork from all over the world. The exhibit highlights how her fashion choices reflected not only her personal style but her values as well.
