The New Yorker Festival Is Just Around the Corner

Every year, The New Yorker puts on one of the most popular fall festivals in New York City. The New Yorker Festival is coming up, and if you’ve yet to experience it for yourself, this is the year to attend.

Some of the most popular names and influencers in film, music, literature, art, and politics participate. There are pop culture panels, performances, and inspirational discussions! Not all of the official details have been announced at the time of this news announcement. But here is what has been released and what we do know so far about this year’s New Yorker Festival.

Dates: October 7th through October 9th

Venues: The New York Society for Ethical Culture (2 West Sixty-Fourth Street) and SVA Theatre (333 West Twenty-Third Street)

The Featured Events Lineup

Bono and David Remnick talk about “a life in songs” starting at 8:30 PM on Friday. 

Hasan Minhaj and Phoebe Robinson chat with Emma Allen about “comedy royalty” on Friday at 6:00 PM.

Harvey Fierstein and Billy Eichner talk with Michael Schulman about “reinventing the rom-com” on Friday at 8:30 PM.

Jamie Lee Curtis and Maggie Gyllenhaal talk to Rachel Syme about “screen time” on Sunday at 10:00 AM.

New Yorker Festival FAQs

You can visit the web for more information about various ticket options, Eustace Passes, and COVID-19 protocols for attendees. But here are a few FAQs that might help you make your plans.

Can I bring my pet to the festival? 

Only service animals are allowed. 

Is this suitable for all children?

All attendees must have a ticket to participate and be 13 years of age or older. Events serving alcohol have a 21 and older limitation.

What is the Under-30 ticket all about?

The Under-30 ticket is available for those 29 years old or younger at a special price. Proof of birth date and valid I.D. are required upon arrival.
