The New York Botanical Garden is wonderful to visit any time of year. But you should also plan to attend on November 19th for something extra special. It’s the Holiday Train Show, one of NYC’s most beloved holiday traditions! Model trains galore, zipping through the enchanting displays, have delighted fans for more than 30 years. If you haven’t experienced this magical wonderland of trains, you have to check it out for yourself. And if you’re like most people, once you’ve witnessed the wonder and awe of this model train display, along with the NYBG Glow event, you’ll be adopting a new family tradition!

Explore the Holiday Train Show
See artfully crafted model trains hum around the displays of endless tracks, bobbing and weaving through more than 190 New York landmark replicas. Kids and adults alike are mesmerized by the tiny, energy-efficient lights, and the special evenings feature music, dancing, food, and so much more! There are more than 25 different G-scale model trains and a few trolleys traveling along the nearly half-mile track. And don't forget to look above to see the aerial display of trains humming along NYC bridges overhead!

NYBG GLOW: An Outdoor Light & Color Experience
It’s the third year for the NYBG GLOW, the landscape of illuminated lights to delight holiday fans. Mark these days on your schedule to be amazed:
