Take a stroll around the always charming and historic Greenwich Village and stop in at the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit for their semi-annual event. The east side of Washington Square Park on University Place will be filled with exciting art exhibits from all over the world.
What started in 1931 with artists Jackson Pollock and Willem DeKooning just trying to pay their rent, the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit has evolved into a sought-after showcase featuring artists who specialize in not only fine arts but also photography, handmade crafts, and sculptures, just to name a few. There’s truly something for all art enthusiasts to see and experience.
