Top Event Planning Conferences for the Remainder of 2021

April 5, 2022 Susan Serena

The lineup for the event planning conferences coming up for the remainder of 2021 is hot! Who knew that at the very top of the list is The Event Planner Expo coming up in next month? We had a hunch.

While corporate event planners around the country have been forced to enter unchartered waters and pivot the way we were used to managing events, everyone is looking forward to getting back to normal. Sorta. Quite frankly for a lot of people including those in the hospitality and events industry, 2020 was a tough year. There were many canceled or postponed event planning conferences and the majority that did take place were virtual.

Now, after last year’s fiasco, hybrid events are here to stay! As we enter the last business quarters, we want you to know who, where, and how to attend the top event planning industry conferences!

The 2021-2022 Top Event Planning Conferences

The Event Planner Expo

October 12th – 14th | Metropolitan Pavilion & Virtually | New York

The Event Planner Expo will bring together the world's leading players in the events, hospitality, and marketing industries. This event is both LIVE and VIRTUAL.

During the month of October, the nation's top marketing professionals, innovators, and event planners will converge on NYC to share their expertise. They have curated content that emphasizes the importance of staying relevant with cutting edge digital marketing, and immersive networking following the damaging effects of Covid-19. Besides looking forward to one of the sharks from the renowned television show Shark Tank (Daymond John), and the infamous wedding and event planner Colin Cowie, the agenda is full of strategic sales and marketing sessions to help teach event professionals how to survive in the industry.

Wedding Merchants Business Academy

November 8-10 | Las Vegas Convention Center | Las Vegas

Wedding MBA brings together more than 180 exhibitors and hosts over 150 educational seminars where wedding professionals from around the world will be in attendance. Unlike the virtual conference in 2020, the 2021 conference will be held on-site. It is an excellent event to network with wedding vendors and learn about all about the new trends in wedding planning.

According to a testimonial on their website, “We were blown away by the resources and expertise we gained at Wedding MBA. This is an investment that will show returns immediately and perpetually. Good show, highly recommended.”

PCMA Convening Leaders

January 11-15 | Hybrid

Convening Leaders 2021 will be “your community design lab for what business events will look like in a post-pandemic world,” according to its website. Live studio audiences will be available in some locations for streaming broadcast TV (and official network partners will offer in-person experiences). Olympic gold medalist and two-time world cup champion Megan Rapinoe, as well as Olympic gold medalist and four-time WNBA champion Sue Bird will be among the speakers.

It will be a fantastic opportunity to help brands, communities, and organizations connect people with purpose to ideas and opportunities after being apart for two years.

Keep checking our blog as we announce the top event planning conferences for the upcoming year. 2022 will be hot in the industry!
